The addition of DNA modality in ABIS equips law enforcement officers with a full set of tools essential in criminal investigations and case management
Innovatrics introduces DNA modality to the ABIS platform, providing law enforcement agencies with state-of-the-art DNA identification and analysis capabilities. Leveraging cutting-edge biometric technology and advanced algorithms, DNA extracted from crime scenes can now be cross-checked with other DNA profiles in the ABIS database.
Innovatrics’ DNA modality includes analytical tools that enable investigators to identify a suspect from DNA data and match them with other biometric evidence such as fingerprints. Moreover, DNA profiles and related biometric data can be securely stored and managed in a single system. By analyzing patterns, identifying familial connections, and cross-referencing with other evidence, investigators can accurately build immutable evidence necessary to close even the most complex cases.
Furthermore, in a related development, Veridos, a leading provider of identification solutions, has recently announced a strategic partnership with Innovatrics to enhance their VeriDNA solution for civilian use of DNA IDs. As part of this collaboration, the Innovatrics ABIS database, known for its NIST-certified algorithms and ability to store and compare various biometric data types, including fingerprints, iris scans, and facial geometries, will be integrated into Veridos’ VeriDNA solution. Driving forward the adoption of DNA-based identification in both forensic and civilian settings, the goal is to enhance the capabilities of law enforcement agencies and government institutions in ensuring accurate and secure identification processes.
By integrating advanced DNA identification, robust case management features, and powerful analytics tools, Innovatrics ABIS equips investigators with a complete set of resources to expedite investigations, improve public safety, and bring perpetrators to justice more effectively. Moreover, more applications are set to benefit from the technology, including disaster response operations and civil identification projects designed to improve the credibility of identifying citizens.
Innovatrics’ DNA modality is set to reshape the way law enforcement agencies operate, elevating their investigative capabilities and ultimately making communities safer.
