Biometric enrollment has never been more user-friendly. The latest release of the biometric enrollment software from Innovatrics ABIS is designed to improve the user experience for both enrollees and operators.
Innovatrics ABIS is one of the very few ABIS providers that support all three main modalities (faces, fingerprints, and irises), with each ranked among the top performers in independent NIST benchmarks. They are powered by the latest Innovatrics algorithms that boost speed and accuracy.
The new PC enrollment with reworked architecture and modular UI components allows for effortless user-defined enrollment customization. In addition, the enrollment is operable both in online and offline setup, making it ideal for civil registration hardware kits. Support for 64 bit architecture and new REST API enables easy integration of any new scanning hardware on demand.
Innovatrics ABIS features predefined workflows for civil, criminal, and border enrollment, making it highly customizable according to a user’s specific use case. The new civil enrollment flow starts with face capture and continues with a slap scan, iris, personal info, and enrollment overview.
The face capture process now supports any USB or built-in camera in a plug-n-play fashion. ICAO attributes are evaluated and visible in real-time while taking the picture. Correspondingly, fingerprints are auto-captured and segmented with real-time quality assessment (NFIQ1 and NFIQ2). In case of poor quality or duplicity Innovatrics enrollment software notifies the operator of the need for a finger to retake without interrupting the flow. Iris capture allows for both eyes or a single eye scan.
When it comes to criminal enrollment, Innovatrics ABIS offers an updated UI, illustrated instruction for the operator, automatic proceeding to the next finger, and more data for the operator to use in decision-making. These include four quality evaluations: NFIQ1, NFIQ2, quality of the template extracted, and fingerprint placement score. Navigation for the operator of which area of the palm will be scanned is also available for palmprints.
The enrollment process with the Innovatrics enrollment software for PC is now seamless, with an improved UI and a new frictionless UX flow.
To complete the enrollment offering, Innovatrics ABIS offers the possibility for field enrollment operations thanks to its recently released enrollment app for the Android – BioScriber Mobile app. This makes the registration of new users into ABIS solutions faster and more comfortable from anywhere.
The enrollment application is designed for mobile biometric devices featuring a camera, fingerprint and iris scanner in compact portable hardware. Bioscriber Mobile, Innovatrics’ enrollment Android app, has been upgraded to the latest Innovatrics algorithms for face and iris detection to further enhance speed and accuracy.
