With more and more cases of online identity fraud being reported every year, organizations are constantly on the lookout for better security measures. One such safeguard developed by Innovatrics to make remote identity verification more reliable is document liveness technology.
As the world goes more digital, fraudsters are taking bolder approaches in assuming fake identities. From simply using a stolen ID card or a picture of one, they could go to great lengths like creating a synthetic identity to commit fraud or take over an account. This can result in significant losses for businesses and individuals.
Innovatrics document liveness technology helps to verify a person’s ID document in real time. Our algorithms can detect if the picture of the ID presented during the identity verification process was physically present or taken from a screen. Regardless if it is a tablet, smartphone, PC, or TV screen, the technology can detect various screen attacks from any device without complicating the user journey.
Document liveness technology is crucial for organizations because it can help to reduce the risk of identity fraud. For system integrators, it provides a powerful tool for compliance with regulations required in the identity verification process. By reducing the risk of identity fraud, document liveness technology can also help businesses to protect their customers and prevent financial losses.
Our document liveness technology can easily be integrated by deploying Digital Identity Service (DIS). Through DIS, new features to ramp up document authentication can be added with a quick update. More security features are lined up to keep those fraudsters at bay, so stay tuned!
