On the hardware side, HID L Scan 1000 offers cutting-edge detail in fingerprint and palm scanning. Capable of capturing image quality at 1000 PPI resolution, it provides unprecedented clarity, recording fine ridge details and pores. It captures third-level detail in fingerprints, which is crucial for high-level cases or scenarios with limited latency and information.
HID’s industry-leading L Scan 1000 is integrated into Innovatrics ABIS, which works with any hardware, to create a powerful investigation tool. It uses a special precision optical block and image sensor to provide the sharpest images available, enhancing search performance and review of latent prints. This device lets investigators capture fingerprints and palmprints from crime scenes and compare them against existing criminal databases, resulting in the highest match rates.
