Innovatrics has released an exciting update to SmartFace, making it easier to manage watchlists across multiple sites. The new Multi-Site Watchlists Synchronization feature is poised to benefit organizations with global operations.
This new feature allows one central watchlist to serve as the command center for all instances. Any updates to this central watchlist are automatically sent out to all locations in the system. This ensures that every site operates with the most current watchlist, without the need for manual updates.
The Multi-Site Watchlists Synchronization is built on a Leader-Follower architecture. This not only simplifies watchlist management but also boosts security and operational efficiency. Whether hosted in the cloud or on-premises, this architecture guarantees that the system runs smoothly even if the connection to the central instance is temporarily lost.
Imagine an international company with offices worldwide using a biometric face identification system. Thanks to the Multi-Site Watchlists Synchronization feature, employees can access any branch with ease. The central watchlist at the headquarters updates all branch systems automatically, eliminating manual uploads.
Airports can deploy this advanced feature to maintain updated watchlists across terminals and security checkpoints, ensuring consistent security measures. Banks with multiple branches can synchronize access control lists to allow staff to move between locations without manual intervention. Even retail chains can update security personnel watchlists across all stores simultaneously to up their game against potential security threats.
SmartFace is a scalable facial recognition platform designed to detect and identify faces and human appearances across multiple camera streams with top accuracy in real time. It supports instant identification scenarios for access control, pre-emptive security, and video investigation, making it an invaluable tool for organizations looking to enhance their security and operational efficiency.
